The Links League WearOS app brings the power of golf tracking right to your wrist. Enter scores, view GPS data, and keep track of your round—all from the convenience of your smartwatch. Here’s a step-by-step guide on how to connect and use the app on your WearOS device.
Connecting to a Round
Upon downloading the Links League app, you’ll see an “Awaiting Connection” screen. Ensure your smartwatch is paired with your device, then start your round on your phone. If you’ve already begun your round, tap the “refresh” icon to establish a connection.
Viewing GPS/Hole Info
Links League provides detailed GPS data for the Back (B), Middle (M), and Front (F) of the greens, available if user coordinates are present. You’ll also see the hole Par and Handicap information to help you strategize each shot.
Entering Scores
To enter a score, select the appropriate player and press the Enter Score widget. Adjust the number of strokes for the hole using the ‘-’ or ‘+’ buttons. It’s quick and easy, ensuring you stay focused on your game.
Changing Holes
There are three ways to change holes on the app:
1. Tap the <- or -> icons.
2. Swipe forward to move to the next hole (note: swiping back will exit the app as per Android requirements).
3. Tap the Hole string and select the desired hole from the list.
Finishing a Round
When you’ve completed your round, navigate to the Finish page and press the button to end the round on your watch. Please note that the scorecard must be submitted on your paired device.
Troubleshooting
If the watch disconnects from the device, ensure the connection is re-established and press the ‘Refresh’ icon to refresh the watch app.
